Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit my website!
I'm a photographer living on five acres of mixed pine, cedar, and oak trees, in the foothills of Northern California's Sierra Nevada Range. My wife Ginny helps me haul my photographs to galleries and shows, and I appreciate her help so much. Our three cats Jasper, Phoebe, and Smokey, on the other hand, can usually be found trying to edit my photographs by walking on my keyboard, but I love them anyway.
My work is on display at Gold Country Artists Gallery on Main Street in historic Placerville, California. Gold Country Artists Gallery was voted the Best Art Gallery in the Sacramento/Sierra Nevada foothills region by the viewers of KCRA-3 television, as well as Best Art Gallery by the readers of Style Magazine, and the readers of the Mountain Democrat.
I print my photographs on archival acid-free paper with a thick fiber base using Epson UltraChrome K3 ink, which is the industry standard for fine art photography. My photographs are matted and framed using only museum-quality materials so that you can be assured of their quality, longevity and stability. I donate 20% of the proceeds of my photography sales to national and international wildlife and wildlands conservation organizations.
If you're interested in buying one of my photographs, please email me via the "contact" section of this website. Whether or not you are interested in making a purchase, I'd love to hear from you. Want to sign up for my mailing list? Share your own photographs with me? Suggest a new title for one of my photographs? Share tips for photographing wildlife where you live? Just go to the "contact" section and send me an email. I'll respond as soon as I can!
